Barrows! Or.....Bust?

I'm worried about the Mustache Blog. We seem to be experiencing post-Barrows depression. Perhaps the trip was so amazing that the rest of life just seems dull by comparison. Oh Barrows, I feel so lost without you! I drove through on my way to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul, not Barrows and Fort Ripley) on Thursday, and I became very nostalgic. We'll have to make this an annual trip. For next year, at least. I'm picturing a huge caravan...with camels!

It's not all bad, though. We got 28 comments on the post, and I received many more props (non-electronic) from friends and relatives. Plus, Wangthedogner liked it. Now, if we can just get Hewitt to read the blog...

Dear Italians: What's happening in Italy? Soccer? Bull-fights? Are you guys like in college or what?

Hey, I know what'll jar us out of our Barrows-induced rut! Dozens of Mustache Spring Break photos! Ya'll had better get on that.

Kubas, I don't think you taking anal steroids will help pull this blog throught the depression we are in.

Me on the other hand...

The cause of this depression is probably the fact that it is a Manly Mustache Intramural B-Ball blog and intramural is over and the Manly Mustaches no longer officially exist.

That may be both true and tragic.

Three on three though, huh?

What's the plan for that, anyways?

_k,
"what's happening in Italy?"

Ordinary life: soccer, television, blogs.

Talking about soccer, we are fanatic of Nabor, our team. You have to visit the official blog, ilradico.blogspot.com
Sir Alex is our best scorer. He's a huge forward, he looks like a basketball player but his strenght hits also in a soccer pitch. I am just a supporter because I had problems with the coach in the past. Actually I'm not the only person that can't put up with Bruce (the coach).
Ah, we are not colegians, Sir Alex is graduated (law) and I'm still attending university.

Television: my favourite programmes are simpsons and CSI NY. You know, detective Bonasera, Taylor and Co. That's cool.

blogs: you can find whatever you want about my life visiting my blog. My life has changed since I've become a blog owner.
I think that for a blogger it's good not only to update his own personal page; it's cool to visit the others, if they worth visiting. Your blog is cool, but I'm not sure to have understand the critic of that anonimous who commented your trip in barrows. What did he mean? Did he just want to fuck with you? I can't stand this kind of people in my blog.

Fayna-

Thank you for your message. It is good to keep up a conversation!

Soccer: Sir Alex's boastings about his soccer skills bring us much joy. I too play soccer, although right now the tennis season is beginning. A Mustache-Nabor charity soccer game would truly be a great event.

Television: I do watch CSI, but Miami is my favorite. I have watched NY; Gary Sinese is very good.

Blogs are good things. Without them, we would never have met you! The anonymous person on our Barrows post was just some jerk. I do not know what he wants. I think we may block anonymous comments in the future to stop such things from happening.

Your English is very good; much better than my Italian, at least. Do you speak any other languages? I speak German, and some other mustaches speak Spanish. Tragically, no Italian classes are offered at our school.

Here I am again! Yeaaaaaa, we have to organize a friendly match Mustaches-Nabor under the stars with profits left to the construction of an Italian school in Minnesota!
How much would the Giant Stadium rent cost? 90' I mean...

Csi miami was my first approach with Csi and I liked it, but NY staff is my favourite! Oratius (the red) is a "pumped ball" as we literally say in Italia, I mean he didn't stop to boast.. Alex Mo' is shy as a rabbit comparized with him!
Gary Sinese is the man! I remember he played Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump, great!
Finally, I'll tell you I'm happy to know that some mustaches speak Spanish! Who are them? I speak Spanish (I wrote you in Spanish some posts ago) as I've lived 10 months in Santiago de Compostela in the north-west of Spain: great landscapes! Well now I'm going to read today news in your blog and then will be Simpsons time! (at 2:30 pm). Byeeeeee

What a conversation we're having! I've never really had a pen pal or met a lot of Europeans, so this is fun for me. I will inform the rest of the mustaches about this so they can also participate.

What does "Nabor" mean exactly? Is it an Italian word or did you just make it up? I feel bad because you know so much English and I know no Italian. How does one say "hello" and "goodbye" in Italian?

I attempted to find who Oratious is, but I could not find him/her. Is it a man or a woman? Please explain more exactly what a "pumped ball" is. A Google search for CSI NY came up with an Italian website, but it did not help.

The mustaches that I know speak some spanish are keuber, 3 the hard way, chuz, and the janitor. I don't know if anyone else does. Three languages! I'm impressed. I have to work on my Italian.

You are a simpsons fan! That is great news. My family is very in to the simpsons. Are the characters still named Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa? It is weird to picture them all speaking Italian. Or is it subtitled, with words on the screen?

Perhaps we can move this conversation onto a newer post so it is easier to find. I'll post about it.

max: "oratius" my best guess would be horatio from CSI miami. great show.

debes ensenarnos italiano!!!
