Wait, I knew he had a stroke, but did he die?

Damn, man.

We never even got a chance to send him a complimentary mustache shirt....we should produce a commemorative jersey next year and enclose it in a glass case.

Uh, "3 the Hard Way," may I politely ask you to go fuck yourself? Kirby Puckett is forever the face of the Twins organization and was one of its best ambassadors during the course of his career. So he made a mistake after his career ended? Not like it was an OJ-esque one. I mean, one of the greatest Twins of all-time dies and you bring that shit up? Weak, real weak.

Okay eric, so this may not have been the best time to bring up the parking lot incident. But it's important to remember that for all his baseball greatness, Kirby had some serious problems after he retired. Sports were very kind to him, but he never adjusted to life outside of pro baseball. He fell apart physically (a stroke at 45?) and emotionally. He was accused of both abusing his wife and sexually assaulting a woman, and while he was never convicted of either charge, they will remain part of his legacy.

It's nice to remember the magical moments on the field, but we do our heros a disservice when we try to gloss over their deficiencies in the real world. They were real people too and it's important to remember all their actions.

That would be huge.

Kirby Puckett, la leggenda dei Minnesota Twins. He was 44, but his legend hasn't time.

Is baseball big in Italy?

I don't think so... baseball comes after soccer, basketball, F1race, volleyball, handball, tennis, rugby, swimming, skating, fencing and probably dodgeball! I don't know why, but there's no interest in baseball in Italy. Maybe because we have no tradition nor good players. And you, d'you play baseball?

who IS this guy? hahahaha.

He's AMAZING, that's who.

And baseball's behind fencing? Ouch. And swimming? Double ouch.

I don't actually play baseball, but I enjoy it as a spectator. Soccer and basketball are my favorites to actually play,
