1. I got a parking ticket a few days ago. Does anyone know if one is not allowed to contest a parking ticket? There was no mention of the opportunity to challenge it, like there was on all the speeding tickets I have gotten.

sam you've done more posts in the last 20 minutes than you had in the last 2 months. I did give you your admin privileges back earlier, but someone must have taken them away again. I just gave you them again.
And about the ticket, I wouldn't know because I've never gotten a ticket before

seriously I also know someone who got THREE tickets thrown out once because he bothered to show up to court.
Yeah, but there isn't a court date or anything on the ticket, just a fine amount. On my speeding tickets it actually said when my court date was if I wanted to go.

And Tay, Maya does not suck.
They say I was parked in a two-hour spot. However, I had been parking in that same place for a month, because it's not really labelled as two-hour parking. There's a sign further down the block, but I assumed that that didn't apply to the first half of the block. I plan on telling them it was not clearly posted.
well when there is an arbitary letter there just hanging off the end of your name you can't really expect people to read your mind and discover that it is actually not part of your name.
